Yesterday, I had the longest day ever! It was really crazy… Because I slept early the other night while putting Raine to sleep, I was wide awake really early the following morning - at 3 am! So I decided to go ahead with my online stuff, thinking that I’ll be able to accomplish way much before it’s time to prepare Raine for school at 6 am.
So when 6 am came, I took care of Raine, helped him prepare, brought him to school and I got back excited to get back to writing. However, less than an hour into it…I ended up voice-and-video chatting with a long-lost friend of mine. Before I knew it, it was already time to get ready for Raine’s lunch break.
After lunch, my brother was buzzing my computer when I got back here. He wanted to chat too. So we did. For more than 2 hours! I told you…yesterday was indeed chika day! He he. Anyways, I was able to insert some more blog entries after chatting with my brother. Then it was again time to pick up Raine at school by 4 pm. When we went home together, I still had to take care of Raine first for various things. After which, I cooked/prepared dinner while hand-washing the laundry. Talk about multi-tasking, right?
My cousin J is actually staying with us to help me with Raine and the house chores. But he is a college student and unlike last semester, he’s now got a full week-day class schedule. Thus, he’s practically gone most of the day. But I really don’t mind. I just wanted to have another adult around the house (especially at night), so I took J in.
After dinner, it was again time to get back to work. Well I actually did some work while watching the evening teleseryes. Ha ha! By 9 pm or so (around the time na patapos na ang Kung Tayo’y Magkakalayo)…it’s Raine’s bed time already. Mine too actually.
But last night I still couldn’t sleep. So when Raine was soundly asleep, I sneaked out of bed and went back in front of my computer. You see, the thing with working late at night is that it’s too quiet. Really conducive to writing. That’s why I love working nights. Guess what time I ‘closed shop’? 2 am!
Then habang nakahiga I realized I just had a 24-hour day! Gosh. 3 am to 2 am eh di ba? Ha ha ha! I can’t do that daily. I’m going to be sick that even California car insurance won’t help. But all in all…I’m really happy with yesterday’s output. I’ve covered all important areas: family, home, work and friends. Who said you cannot have the best of all worlds?!

If you noticed, I’m staying away from long blog entries recently because for one, I can’t break them into paragraphs and second, I’m always swamped with too many blogging duties I can’t blog here a lot. Problem fixed! Gotta give credit to A for looking into the issue and fixing it. What would I do without you? 
Anyways, the WP text editor got some issues with Google Chrome - the browser I’ve been using of late. Now with Firefox, the problem is gone. Weird! Ha ha ha!
